I noticed a fun, and straightforward, looking ski line in the Trestle Creek area while out trail running last summer and it has been on my list ever since. You get great views of it (on a clear day) from the yamaha flats area. The waypoint on the map below marks the line and the dashed lines are some proposed access routes. I'd guess this is a pretty common ski area. Does the zone have a name?

The included photos are from June 2024, taken from Trestle Ridge. Seems like it holds snow well into the summer - anyone skied the obvious line down the middle?

Further south on that ridgeline is a zone that's worth a look mid winter with deeper snowpack. Skied it a few years ago with success. Was out hunting for new burn zones after the fire. This area didn't get heavily burned but still nicely spaced tree skiing. South of Trestle Peak you will see Peak 6357. Nice 1500 ft NW shots. The skiing petered out about 4,800 feet when were there. Approached via Forest Road 1082 and the SW Ridge.
