To any new members: Welcome!

I'm new.
Moved here from Colorado last year and only got out for a few tours on Lookout and Kootenay Pass'.
Looking to get out in the Panhandle more this winter.

Hit me up if you need a partner for adventure.

Cheers,

LB
Alright...another Coloradoan! Welcome. Moved here 2.5 years ago and lovin every minute. Don't go out
much in the backcountry, but ski Silver!

Grew up in AK, and got into Backcountry in my early 20s, did that for about 7 years, and then moved to the Midwest for 7 years. Wouldn't recommend it if you like skiing.

Just moved to Spokane for work in May and slowly getting back into splitboarding. Would love to go on a daytrip either with someone knowledgeable in the local areas, or on an adventure with someone else, up some random mnt that looks fun.

What a great resource. Riding at Schweitzer the next couple days and the great terrain has me thinking about a spring trip for some splitboarding. Hit me up if anyone wants to show me and my brother-in-law the gates at Schweitzer.

Hi everyone, looking for ski touring options near Sandpoint. I'm up there a few times a year and don't always want to ski Schweitzer.

Cheers!

Hi. Started getting into Backcountry snowboarding a couple years ago. Took an avy 1 course up in Rossland, but fractured my tibial plateau shortly after which derailed my Backcountry plans. Now that my knee is healed and I've gotten used to riding on it in resorts I'm ready to give the backcountry another shot.

Hello!

I'm an experienced backcountry skier moving to the area in July. My partner and I are taking a road trip to decide exactly where we want to move and want to do some skiing along the way! I'm excited to look through all the incredible information on this website and to join the community.

Hello everyone!

My name is Niko and I was born and raised in North Idaho. At a young age, snowboarding had turned into a lifelong passion which I now get to share with my 9 yo son. I spent some time in Hawaii after college and still found myself missing North Idaho. I always took this area for granted growing up and now that I’m back I can’t imagine leaving again. I probably won’t be able to get out in the BC this season (expecting wife) and I also have very little backcountry experience but hope to change that by taking time to get myself educated and properly equipped. After exploring some alpine lakes in the Selkirks last summer I had imagined the terrain would be incredible. Finding k.p0w, PowderPanda, and Jason_Oshen_Hershey on Instagram is what really got me fired up to start doing some research and get out there. Funny side-story for Jason - I use to rent surfboards from your brother in Waikiki.
Looking forward to shred with y’all one day soon!

Howdy folks. I just joined today to help educate myself on touring options in Northern Idaho. I live in Walla Walla and do a lot of bc skiing around here, in the Wallowas, the Elkhorns, and the Washington Cascades. I've been at it for about the last 15 years, and am dedicated to improving my skills and experience every winter. I'm looking forward to exploring more in the panhandle.

Hello! this site seems awesome. College student who is always searching for the steep and deep. I have a decent amount of touring experience but very little in the panhandle/the east side of Washington. I am originally from the westside and am always looking to ski and tour with people better and more knowledgeable than myself.
