Just joined after meeting some members this weekend. Was nice running into other folks in the BC this time of year and appreciated taking advantage the already-set boot pack; as well as meeting the friendly folks back at the trucks.
Stoked to have another Missoulite on board MtBigBlue! It was great meeting you and your wife up at Cliff lake!!
Enjoi the site and reach out to anyone if you have questions! Again.. glad we ran into you two and the "wolves" that were stalking out tracks! LoL

BTW.. Love you're pups!!!

Hi everyone,
My partner and I are in the process of relocating to the panhandle right now, waiting to figure out where I'll be working before I fill in my location - either Sandpoint or the Silver Valley. We are a couple splitboarders from a backcountry patrol in northern Colorado. She got her certs and joined up last winter; I've got a few years under my belt.
Looks to be a good season, excited for the change of scenery.

Definitely would love to meet some good people to get into the backcountry with, and even just to grab a beer. We know exactly zero people in the area.

Hey guys, my name is Ryan Olsen, fairly recently moved to Spokane and I’m currently working on my Mechanical engineering at EWU. I am pretty new to backcountry and this looked like a good place to ask questions and get my feet wet in learning more about backcountry skiing before venturing out. I appreciate the work that people are putting into this as it looks like a great source to help folks like me get more exposed to new terrain and promote good safety practices before heading out.

Hi guys and gals, awesome start to the 2017/2018 riding season!! I'm pretty new to the pacific northwest having relocated from Alaska. I'm a splitboarder with over 15 years of experience enjoying the wonders of the backcountry realm, am avy trained and excited to get after it. I'm hoping to spend a good bit of time in the backcountry this year but lack partners. I don't know the area that well, have been to Kootenai Pass several times as well as some slackcountry off Schweitzer. If you're willing to let me tag along let me know (907-378-9037)! Get after it!!

Hey Kyle, welcome to the area! If you end up in the Sandpoint area that's where I live, am pretty new to the area like you but did get out a little last year and am also looking for partners. Feel free to contact me if you end up moving to the Sandpoint area! 907-378-9037

Hi folks. Winter arrived right on time. I just found this site and am looking forward to some exploring on this side of the Cascades. See ya’ll out there.

Hi everybody. Planning to use this season to hone my riding skills inbounds, and start picking up the knowledge and equipment I need for back country travel. Hope to get my cert and join some of you out there next season.
