Hey guys, Im trying to get up the nerve to get out and get touring this winter and possible some easy turns. I blew my ACL Xmas day last year hucking cliffs skiing (not happening for a while now
) and had it replaced in March 2016. I wont lie, I'm a nervous Nancy to get out there. But I know some touring and some easy turn would be good for my confidence. I have been strength training hard, swimming, trail running, and beat on it really good racing mtn bikes from July through the end of the season. I am on full release from PT and to return to normal activities. I'm more than physically capable of doing it, its just the brain keeping me very timid.
That's said, I realize Im a liability in the backcountry and need to be with someone that is OK with that. Beyond that I am confident in the BC and a capable skier, enjoy bringing my dog with me, and like to think a fun guy to tour with. I am located in Pullman, WA. Happy to travel and always grateful for those who want to earn their turns to happy to carpool or cook you dinner in return for being patient with someone trying to regain their confidence on the sticks that broke me. In the mean time I'll be touring the wheat fields and Freezeout till I find someone to party with!
Thanks!
Max
