I moved onto a pair if Dynafit Mercurys this year for BC. I kept these as backup for resort days this year cause they can drive a ski like no other. But my resort days waned this year (think I MAY have broken even on my Silver Pass this year).

And a Binding mounting snafu(see note) has me looking for $$ to get bindings for the spring planks I just purchased.

Note: apparently you can not remove the brakes on the ION??? It's contrary to what I had read online, and a 130 mm brake on a 98mm ski does compute in my little head. Haha!

I'm an idiot! I've seen you ski a dozen times in those dynafits. In my gear whoring brain, a person wouldn't conceive of selling gear and then not replacing it with something new and shiny!

Bummer about not being able to swap brakes on the ion, I would have thought G3 would address this after dynafit users complained about it for a decade...
